Under the supervision of the Sales Director, a key account manager is responsible for preserving & growing business within current key accounts of the company, and generating new business by establishing contact with prospects.
Previous experience in the automotive industry is a must
On-Going assessment of key accounts’ sales performance with the objective of creating client loyalty & guaranteeing future sales.
Conduct strategic account reviews on regular basis to review service needs and usage trends
Have knowledge about both the products and the targeted clients, and explain how the uses and benefits of the products in the clients’ business (increase revenues, reduce costs etc.).
Create client base development, expansion goals, budgets & profit margin targets, and execute accordingly.
Focus on increasing loyal customer base in the designated segment
Develop & execute client relationship plan including account review, client satisfaction & retention measures while building & maintaining strong client interactions
Manage, support & service the key accounts’ related needs
Anticipate & understand key clients’ specific needs & offering solutions
Listen to and assess customer needs (Price, delivery dates, dependability, quality of service and product etc.) either over the phone or in person, and provide appropriate solutions.
Address client concerns & ensure solving problems in a timely manner
Conduct market research and competitor analysis and identify key opportunities
Identify & leverage opportunities & report to the Sales with information regarding clients & prospects with the respective strategies employed. Forecast demand so no sales are missed-Build follow-up plans
Define & prepare sales proposals
Achieve the assigned sales volume for the handled market segment and within the set period
Develop a strong relationship internally to insure timely delivery to customers
Continuous customer focus
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Experience in the automotive industry is a must
Excellent problem solving skills
Leadership skills and ability to motive and drive a team of salesperson
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge in developing sales report and data
Proficiency in the use of various computer applications, including Office Suite
Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
